Building Better Access: A How-To Guide for Inclusive Municipal Recreation

Please join the Active Abilities Canada (Active Abilities Canada) for a webinar hosted by the Saskatchewan Association of Recreation Professionals on June 26th, 2025.
Active Abilities Canada has been invited to introduce the Municipal Guide to Promising and Best Practices for Disability Inclusion in Recreation and Physical Activity, which is a resource that was soft launched on May 14th. This resource provides how-to practices for staff at all levels in municipal recreation departments to make sure people with disabilities are included in their programs and activities. The focus of the webinar will be on the content of the Municipal Guide, how to use it in municipal recreation settings, and share future engagement opportunities with guests as the guide will be officially launched in the late fall of 2025.
